New to the area.....any Cyclone friendly bars/anything else I should know about the area? I feel like I'm behind enemy lines....

You will be surprised with how many Cyclone fans you will run into in the area.
The 2 point attempt to win the game last year bought a lot of respect for the Cyclones. You will not have to put up with as much grief as you would have in previous years.
Also if you do start to take too much heat, you can always switch the topic to making fun of the Hawks....

In Omaha the NCC usually has game watches at The Fox and the Hound at 120th and Dodge. I personally don't like the place because I find the service awful.
If I go to a gamewatch I usually go to DJ's Dugout at 114th and Miracle Hills (or Dodge depending how you look at it) It is right next to Stokes grill.
Also, If you have never been in Nebraska you will need a strong stomach. All these people care about is Husker football. It's like a cult.

The owner of Fiddlin Monkey in Council Bluffs is an ISU alum. Always a good place for a game watch.
When I lived in Omaha this was the thought of myself and my Iowa State friends as well. We went twice and never returned. Horrible, horrible service.
