Oklahoma on Film

Track meets don’t favor the lesser track team. We’re nearly two decades in of lesser teams winning by making it a track meet.

We don’t need a controlled offense, we need an effective offense. There are many forms of that, but most don’t consist of trying to be vanilla behind a soft OL. The main thing we’ve controlled is INTs, but at what cost, and how much of that was Lazard?

Effective or efficient are better terms. Basically if ISU does what works to get 6 yards when it only needs 5 instead of 3 receivers going deep.

The OU team in general and the defense in particular is much less disciplined than the Iowa team we saw last week. They are probably more talented, but they tend to do a lot of stupid stuff when games are tight. If ISU can make them uncomfortable they may get some opportunities.
