Oklahoma and Okie State

My most optimistic to least to win
165 - Carr over Sheets
197 - Yonger vs Surber
285 - Sam vs Doucet
184 - Coleman vs Wittlake
149 - Johnson vs Voinovich
141 - Swiderski vs Young
125 - Fuessley vs Blankenship
157 - Kraisser vs GFeller
174 - Broderson vs Plott
133 - Redding vs Fix

I think there are a lot of great matches here that could go either way if someone isn't ready to wrestle or gives up some cheap points.

Screw it lets go 7/10 and be done with these negative vibes

So do we see Knopick, since he beat Fuessley at the North County Open?
This is what I'm expecting to see. I think Knopick has shown improvement and should get his shot until Cabanban is back.

Plott recently lost to Olmos of Oregon State, who Broderson beat. And lost to Runyon.

So I think we are capable of winning 9 of 10. We haven't had a real bad dual yet and Hilton should be crazy
Agreed.

Maybe I’m crazy but I’m more optimistic about Casey going 2-0 this weekend than I am Paniro.

I think Casey’s hair will be on fire, and Paniro tends to play with fire.

Broderson has the chance to make some strides and I like where his trending. That would be huge given where we’re at at 25.

So long as Knopick has matured stylistically enough to stay out/get out of compromising situations, I think he's a bit better than Fuessley. I've seen a decent array of offensive tools from Knopick. Definitely some good upside with him.

He seemed solid at North County Open. I thing I have learned is you don't know what was going on leading up to the match. Was he sick? Did he find out late and have to make a huge cut fast??? Or maybe nothing and just a bad match.

60-0 each meet

One notable for this weekend -- OSU wrestles UNI Saturday night instead of the usual Friday. So, ISU will get an extra day off plus the 1-pound allowance on Sunday.
I was wondering about that. So both teams get the extra pound, not just the one that wrestled the day before?

Casey is going 2-0 this weekend. Book it.
I would hope so. I guess I'm in the camp of expecting Casey to still be the guy who everyone thought he was at the beginning of the year. Took some bumps dealing with weight and injury as a true freshman, but if he doesn't go 2-0 this weekend after hearing reports he is better then we have bigger problems.
