Slide those goal posts, B1G!
You sound like a possible candidate to replace the current B1G commissioner. This just in from the Big 10 Offices.
"Due to the Covid-19 outbreak at Ohio State University the Big 10 is concerned that Northwestern University will have its team at full strength while Ohio State will be missing key players due to this unfortunate development.
To even the playing field, depending on how many OSU starters are affected, the Big 10 has modified how points will be scored in the CCG. OSU touchdowns will now be scored as 12 points. Field goals will count for 6 points. PATs are now designated as 3PATs and will count for 3 points. Upward adjustments may be made if even more OSU starters are out.
Northwestern points scored (if any) will be tallied in the standard 6, 3, and one values."
Listen, I think changing the rule was wrong, however, Indiana got to play them. Had they not played them, then I think they'd have a better case but Indiana didn't do all the things they needed.
OSU is also not going to be forthcoming about this stuff. No way.
B1G is basically "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
I don’t think that happens. This is all setting up for having multiple starters out, losing to Northwestern, but still getting in the playoff because it's unfair to judge them in a game where they have multiple starters out.
I guarantee Ohio St doesn't get in without a conference championship. The rest of college football is fed up with how the BiG has bent over to get the Buckeyes into the CFP.Ohio State will still be ranked 4th because of the eye test when they have all of their players
