*** Official West Virginia vs #6 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Kick the ball out guys. Keshon was wide open in the corner.

WVU has size. Anticipate the trap, pass quickly, and get a lot if easy baskets.

His improvement from two years ago needs studied. It’s insane just how much he’s improved. He went from shouldn’t even be sniffing the court to very good high major starter. Just insane.

It needs to be studied by recruits who want a staff that's going to make them better.

This is a pretty good match up for him. WVU isn't particularly athletic or fast. The lane shot was forced but the 3 was a great shot and that pass to Ward was one of the best plays he's made all year.

We need to look for him on the 3 line. He's been open.
I wouldn’t call a shot he’s been making all year “forced”

I still laugh when I think of us almost beating Baylor twice that season, who went on to win the national title. Had them on the ropes at Baylor, leading by double digits most of the game.
This is stuck in my memory as well. Looking strictly at where each program was at in those moments of history, it would have been one of the largest upsets of all time.

All year is a stretch. When you force something that isn't there, put your head down, and throw up a prayer that's the definition of a bad shot. He made a similar shot 2 weeks ago. Getting lucky twice isn't the same as showing its a good, high percentage shot you can make (Milan fadeaway for example).
