**OFFICIAL WEST VIRGINIA LOSES THREAD**

A WVU win would have pretty much guarenteed ISU would be the 4th Big 12 bowl pick. Now the question is whether ISU can jump WVU in the Alamo or Camping World's eyes with a win tomorrow.
We weren’t going to get picked before Texas by any bowl so I don’t think it hurts that bad. There’s still a chance for us to get two in and if Texas beats OU then I think we’re in San Antonio over the fighting Holgersons. If a couple more lose ahead of Texas and OU or OU sneaks in then it’s Riverwalk and Busch Light.

If ISU wins tomorrow, the Alamo seems way more likely for us than them.

Since the Alamo became #2 in the Big 12/PAC 12 pecking order, their bowl committee has had a hard on for low teens ranked vs ranked matchups. WVU probably won’t fall below us in the rankings which may be a deciding factor.

If we get in ranked lower, I think it would be a testament to our fan base.

I didn't watch the game so I don't have a opinion on the calls but I see Dana is whining about the refs:
http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...ked-west-virginia-touchdown-big-run-nullified

Now he knows how most of the Big 12 feels when this kind of crap happens on a regular basis to them. Big 12 refs are awful and have been for awhile, wish the conference would work on this

Has no reason to whine, he's just being a little baby. Both calls were correct.

1. They ran a pick play on the goalline and Sills creamed the DB while the ball was being thrown. It's an obvious penalty and imo needs to be called more.

2. The WV moron WR decided to block a DB, but instead of letting up after the ball carrier passed him, he decided to keep blocking when both were already out of bounds (think the Baylor play with DM and the gatorade table). Once again easy penalty.

Item #1 was a result of Dana trying to run a cheap play and item #2 was a result of Dana having undisciplined players.
