Whoever on the Bears just got called for being off sides on that PAT literally just cost his team a W in this game. The PAT was missed, he wasn't a factor at all in the missed PAT, and the penalty put Denver back into position to run a 2 pt conversion instead.
Wow! Glad I was wrong but it shouldn't even have had to come down to that.
I think the Broncos got screwed twice in that last Chicago possession.
For sure once. That might have been the worst roughing the passer call I've ever seen. I still have no idea what the Denver player did wrong? Landing on him I guess? How the hell can you avoid that?
Bears had 2 B.S. "roughing" penalties called on them earlier in the game. 1 of which led to Broncos 3 points. I think all 3 calls were terrible.
Rumblings out of Indy that Adam Vinatieri will announce his retirement tomorrow after he missed two more extra point attempts today after missing three kicks last week. Father Time remains undefeated.
Edit:. Some beat writers are saying he may just be released but will look to continue his career elsewhere. At any rate it seems like a good bet he's done in Indianapolis.

I was listening to fox sports radio's version of redzone today. Talked about QBs like Brady and Brees playing for so long and one mentioned about Brees avoiding major injuries.

Torn ligament in his thumb, out six weeks. Silver lining for the Saints is that through two weeks in the NFC South no other team in the division is looking like much of a threat. If Bridgewater and/or Taysom Hill can hold things down and keep them around .500 they should still be alright.

Statement by Mike Tomlin on Ben Roethlisberger:
Ben Roethlisberger had an MRI on his right elbow Sunday evening and it was determined by the Steelers’ medical team that surgery will be required. We expect the surgery will be scheduled for this week. He will be placed on our Reserve/Injured List and is out for the season.

I know it's only Week Two but the AFC looks very much like a two horse race already - Pats and Chiefs. I'm not buying in on Baltimore just yet.
