NFL: ***Official Week Three Thread***

If the Browns will take someone like Kareem Hunt they’ll take someone like AB.

The teams that immediately came to mind for me were the Cowboys and Seahawks. Maybe the Jets and Redskins just because it seems like something they'd do.

You know, with everything that's cropped up the last few months it makes you wonder just how much the Steelers were able to sweep under the rug during AB's tenure there. At any rate, while Big Ben and AB might not be the most prolific QB/WR tandem in league history they're almost certainly the nastiest.

I wonder if that hit Burfict laid on him a few years ago jarred some stuff loose up there.

Right on with Mike P's acknowledgement of the officials letting the play continue.

Lazard in on the 1st and goal for GB.

Team should cut bait and trade him. He can make things ugly if he wants to, and if he does it the right way, there's not a lot the team can do about it

The way I see it they have a couple options, neither of them all that appealing. If his beef is with the front office and not Marrone, they can fire Coughlin and give Ramsey the new contract he wants. Or they can trade him and move on. The problem there is that they have no leverage. They can keep holding out for two first round picks, but if Ramsey decides to just stop showing up then they can't really afford to wait for the offer they want.

Meanwhile, trade interest from other teams might be limited because Ramsey is going to want a new contract wherever he lands. If you were to get him for two years on a rookie contract that's one thing. It's another to trade a way valuable picks and then immediately commit to a long term deal with him.

Maybe the most surprising stat in the league through so far:

Denver's defense, featuring Von Miller and Bradley Chubb and coached by Vic Fangio, has zero sacks and zero takeaways after three games.

Didn't see that coming. I figured they would be an 8-8ish team that struggled to put points on the board but stayed competitive with a good defense. But they've been bad everywhere.

They look like garbage in the second half. What is going on?

Hicks being out hurts the defense for sure. Keenum is comfortable.

Otherwise the last offensive play was a 3rd and 4, and Trubisky went for 30. You don't have to go crazy conservative but why not value the possession in the 4th quarter?

Washington has open guys all over the field. It's like the Bears decided to try and run the clock out from the start of the third quarter. They're gonna lose this if they don't wake up.

And just like that Keenum does that. LOL...

Bad play call on their part.

They were getting movement pretty easily on that drive.

Let's see what Chicago does on this next possession though. Gonna guess going for more than they need.
