Recency bias, as I'm sure there are great goals throughout the years. But this Jermaine Jones' strike against Portugal and John Brooks' late super-sub header to take the lead against Ghana are up there for me.

Definitely agree on those goals as well. I think I just didn't expect to see something like that out of Bradley and so early in the game.

Agreed! I saw him hit it and stood up. I've never seen him take a chance from that far out before. No idea what Ochoa was doin haha but I'm not complaining!

It was extra special for me because it was the first time my son (almost 6) sat down to watch part of the game with me and was semi-interested. When he saw/heard how excited and loud I got after that goal, I think it helped him see how fun sports can be to watch. We even got yelled at by my wife for possibly waking up his little sister.

I think the last time I was that excited over a single sports play was Burton's dunk against WVU.

It's hard not to get excited about goals like that, especially with the atmosphere at Azteca to start that game. Your boy chose a fun game to sit down and watch haha

More exciting: Bradley's goal Sunday, or the Weeden interception in 2OT vs. OSU in 2011?

I'm lucky because I was half-way through a fairly emphatic "Holy ****!!" when my 9 year old daughter threw both arms up and went full Andres Cantor with a good 20 second gooooooaaaallllll!!

That Bradley goal was a thing of beauty, completely unexpected. If Pulisic's strike had bent left and gone in that would've been an all timer

The Bradley goals that I remember are these long volleys. I watched a highlight vid and his memorable ones are these fantastic strikes like against Scotland.

Apparently Jesse Gonzalez has officially filed for his one time switch with FIFA to join the USMNT. That means he's officially tied to the US.

Pretty big news. It was reported by Stuart Holden. I would link but I'm on mobile.
