***Official USMNT Thread***

I am sick of seeing us play these games on ****** surfaces. Quit laying sod on field turf and cement and play the game outdoors. I hope Minnesota gets their outdoor stadium built so I can go to a friendly or two.

That pitch looks absolutely horrendous.

Perhaps we should force Costa Rica(?) to play on a pitch like this, considering their threadbare astroturf that they (used to?) play on...

Quick thoughts. Alvarado was solid in D tonight. I really like his addition to the player pool. Bradley and Mix nailed things down in the midfield nicely. And I really, really hope Agudelo can get his groove going again with the Revs. The US needs some Swagudelo in it's group of forwards.

Such a tough game to judge because the playing surface was so terrible, but I thought our back line played well for extended periods. They still had some wtf moments but it was better than it has been since the WC. I still have no idea what we have behind Altidore up top. I liked Morris' motor but wasn't very impressed with Zardes. I really worry what this team can do if Altidore were to go out for an extended period of time.

Jordan Morris (1st start, 1st goal) Kid is a college sophomore at Stanford:

I know Montreal is in Canada but I figured I'd mention this,

They tied Club America in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League Final 1-1 in Azteca.

Meaning if the scoreline stays, they win the CONCACAF Champs League and would be the first MLS Club to do so since CONCACAF's Club Tournament was renamed to the CONCACAF Champions League

A Spot in the Club World Cup is on the line. 2nd Leg will be at 8 PM ET on Fox Sports 2. Mediacom Channel 765

Will the U-20 cup be televised at all?

Yes. The first match for the US is tonight against Myanmar on FS1. I believe start time will be 11pm for those in the central time zone. I think FS1 and FS2 will also be showing other matches besides just the US as well.

With all of the chatter about the U20s, don't forget the Grown *** Men National Team also has a couple friendlies coming up: tomorrow (Friday) against the Netherlands and then next Wednesday against Germany. If anybody wants to
post the roster for these matches feel free as I don't feel like copying and pasting from my phone right now. Yes, I'm lazy.
