***OFFICIAL: TT @ ISU Predictions thread***

I am not expecting many points scored in this game. I think the final score could be similar to the Iowa game. Since J. George has taken over the third linebacker slot opposing teams are much more limited in options to move the football. He will continue to just keep getting better. I like ISU 13 or 14 to 6 or 7 TT.

I really don't have a good feeling about this game. While I think our offense is vastly improved, I feel like they are still too mistake prone and will do more harm than good in B12 play. Our defense has pulled us out of some tight spots this year along with some amazing punting, especially in the Iowa game. Tech will be the best offense we've seen so far this year, and at times, we've been gashed pretty good defensively through the air.

It's a hard game to predict, because I don't feel we have seen anything close to the potential of our Iowa State team so far this year, and due to Tech's competition, no one can say whether they are for real or not.

Here is to hoping our defense stays stingy and we limit our mistakes on offense. Oh and we finally improve our record for when teams score more the 24 points in regulation.

ISU 37 Tech 31

This would really surprise me. Tech's offense is head and shoulders better than iowa's. ISU will stop them but I'm certain they will get theirs. I really think that ISU will need to score somewhere in the neighborhood of 28 to win.

it is done with a blatent missed call by the officials. (like they have 12 men on the field) Cant really blame the kicking unit then.

Get rid of the replacement refs! End the lockout! Uh...what? Never mind.

I am not sold on Tubs coaching against ISU. Where has he proven that their offense can move the ball that well against Wally's defense. If you look at Big 12 stats ytd. our defense is right up next to the Tech defense in several categories. I am looking for a defensive matchup with both offenses struggling. I am of the opinion that after last year tech will play things close to the vest so long as the game is close, especially since it is on the road. I am not convinced that either team opens things up much until the latter part of the game. In that case Tech may not get untracked. JMO.

38 points 2 years ago was enough proof for me. Even with last year, that leaves them averaging 23 points against Wally. Defense appears to be pretty good this year, but Tech still scores. Tech defense is reminded what it's like to play a team with a pulse. ISU 35-24

Texas Tech has played no one of note yet smashing Northwestern St.(FCS), Texas State(1st year in FBS), and New Mexico(Possibly one of the worst teams in FBS). They look better than they did last year, but they haven't faced a defense like our defense yet. Paul Rhoads continues his dominance over Tommy Tuberville, our defense stifles their offense, and our offense does enough to get the job done. Iowa State 34 Texas Tech 17

The Cyclones start strong as Tech is unfamiliar with our speed. They get a hold of themselves and make things interesting, but the Cyclones come out on top thanks to depth across the board.

Iowa State 30
Texas Tech 24
