If they were doing this with red hot 3 point shooting or some funky defense that some good coach will figure out, sure. But this is just straight up man to man and hustle. That doesn’t have the ebbs and flows that you see with team like Hoiberg’s teams that relied on shooters making shots.
I was being sarcastic but yeah ISU so far has stuck with the plan and it's worked out.
Things could still very well get bumpy even if they continue to play well. I'm not sure if people acknowledge that very openly.
