***Official Texas Tech prediction thread***

Isu will win this game. Our offense will have nearly 500 yds and wimberly will break 150 yds rushing.

we will then go on to beat Baylor along with KSU, OSU, KU and WV.

I'll take triple whatever your drinking. We wont beat Baylor, OSU or KSU (Synder has our number)

In the first two games, I thought we shut down the pass pretty well but got killed on the ground. The last 2 games has been the opposite. Tech has a couple of good RBs, but they don't run a whole lot. Out corners have to step up this week and the D needs to force a few turnovers. I think on offense we are getting into a groove. Little Aaron Wimberly can run over defenders, which is pretty shocking to me. I love watching him run. As long as the young OL continues to improve, I think Wimberly will break 100 for a 3rd straight game. Richardson's ankle could be the biggest factor in this game. If he is able to scramble, then we will put up a lot of points. I doubt we see any designed QB runs this week. I'm hoping the passing game continues to do well.

I think we will be fired up and pull off a big road win 45-38

We had an inept offense when we played them last year, things are starting to pick up now. However, has Tech played an 11 am game? Our young team has many players who haven't started an 11 AM game probably ever. We come out on fire but make a few mistakes.

We haven't played in a hostile environment yet and I heard tech is expecting 61,000 for their record attendance mark.

One thing I've learned is that I can't predict the future, but I've read on Raiderpower.com that were just another scrimmage for Tech, and I've seen a prediction that they will be in the Cotton bowl against A & M. I definitely get the impression that a large portion of Tech fans think this one is in the bag.

I wouldn't say that. I have seen them both play and they look terrible. I don't remember either of these teams looking this bad offensively in a long time.

I agree that we have improved immensely, but, HAVE YOU WATCHED BAYLOR PLAY YET??? I'm just hoping that somehow we are the team that can keep them under 40. Even to do that is going to take some kind of miracle.

Know this, though. I hope you are right. If it goes down as you predict, I will come up to Ames from Texas, play a round of disc golf on that beautiful course just on the outskirts of town to the east, in the snow, with my wife recording, in nothing other than my skivvies.......and probably some flip flops so I don't get frost bite. That is an absolute promise!!!

And of course post the recording to this forum as proof.

^^^THIS^^^

To me it looked like neither team wanted the win between OK ST and KSU. It was almost like each was saying, "nah, go ahead...y'all take this one...it's yours." "No, no, it's yours. We don't really want it all that bad...please, you guys take it.". They offenses were terrible and that's two sub par games in a row for OK St. It's difficult to tell how good either was defensively because the offenses were soooo anemic. These are two teams that we CAN definitely beat. No doubt about it.

It'll be another week of Coach Mess threads on this board after the offensive gameplan doesn't give the Tech defense enough credit. Tech 31 ISU 20. For the record, I think I picked a win against Texas last week.

ISU 37-20, Tech will be playing the backup. Mayfield didnt practice yesterday and according to one of their writters he will be out. Wimberly runs for 200. Honestly could see this game going like 2011. We have an underrated defense and Wally gameplans well for Tech, no change this season.

With 10 seconds left, TTU has a first-and-goal from the 2 yard line and Jeremiah George forces and recovers a fumble to secure the victory.

I had a dream last night that we were down 59-10. We came back and got it to overtime, and for some reason I couldn't watch the end so I had to wait for it on Sportscenter and the score never showed. I still don't know how it ended.

Also, I dream in 1999.

They thought this same thing in 2011.
