Saturday afternoon will be a beautiful time in February . . . for a tailgate!

From 3pm to 6pm between the MBB and WBB games, I will have our trailer in the C4 lot (or closer if I can get it). Look for the Ames Lager flag.

Featuring:
Ames Lager, pop, coffee, water.
Brats, hot dogs, chips, Oreos.

No charge. Whatever you contribute will be given to the We Will Collective.

This is so much fun and so terrifying all at the same time. Forget worrying about making the tournament. This team has put itself in a position to do some amazing things. Winning games like tomorrow are crucial if this team is going to be as good as we all hope it can be. February is where you separate the pretenders from contenders.

Three weeks ago, we embarrassed TCU on their home court during the 1st half and they stormed back the second half only to lose by 1. I guarantee they will be looking for payback and will be super fired up after having a week off.

I just hate the intangibles for this game. I know we have Lipsey in the lineup this time, but I'm still pretty worried. Hope I'm worrying for nothing.

We need a solution/adjustment to defend them in transition or to limit their transition opportunities.

Thanks Rulzzz!

TCU head coach Jamie Dixon has a winning record in Hilton ( 4-3). Let’s take care of business and do something about that today. Be loud and make some magic. Go Cyclones!

Argh. No visiting coach should have a winning record in Hilton. Let's knock Dixon out of that statistical category today.
