I'll probably go see it. It's an original story, written by Michael Crichton, who wrote the first one.
Anybody else's dog freaking out from all the yelling and screaming? About equivalent to if ISU was in a National Championship game here.
Helps to know Brock, but there's no more proud moment I've had in sports than his story. This game is legendary for a legendary start to his career.

Re: the "new" movies - with the way technology and media platforms have changed so much, I kinda get the idea of remaking some classics for the new audience. It doesn't necessarily have to be completely original if you do it right (the Christian Bale Batman trilogy comes to mind).
But yes, some fresh ideas would be cool.
