oh god, if that is how you define good your expectations are not high. that was a VERY average football team that year. Even relative to the recent ISU past that preceded it. Was it better than today, probably. But I think that was our worst bowl team.

Some of you seem to think all we are capable of getting is a junior high coach or Farley. We got a lot of money to spend people. is it a tough job, sure. But going 12-0 or failing is tough too, which is the expectation of a lot of BCS caliber schools.

Patterson didn't turn down his Alma Mater in KSU because he was holding out for the ISU job.

Jagodzinski is in year two at BC which is a better job than ISU. Would we want another guy willing to leave his job in two seasons? Nobody else sees the irony in that?

I do think we can get a good coach. Those guys are just not happening though.
