Mess must go. Hopefully Rohach is up for the task and is licking his chops watching this game. I hope they use one of those TVs in the fancy new locker room we gave them and put this game on repeat until next season starts. They should all be forced to watch their embarrassing effort.
Too early to discuss changing the plaque at Jack Trice to, "Defeat with Dishonor"? That's what I saw.
The team just seemed to give up. I understand putting Jantz in... but after he turns it over get him the heck out of there! ISU just seemed to not care.
Thank you to the faithful fans who spent money and time to go support this *$%^%# effort. AD, Coaches, Players everyone in a position of responsibility should be ashamed. You want to be a big boy football program, you seize these opportunities. What a buzz killing, wasted opportunity for this program. Liberty Bowl gift wraps a better game than we deserve and our 6-6 football team decides to not show up. Shame, Shame, Shame. I've been watching the same crap for 25 years and am coming to the conclusion that there is some kind of invisible force field that retards any move toward credibility for this program.
We have a bunch of guys who chirp and taunt on defense as well. That is the one thing I have hated about CPR s teams is it looks like that stuff is encouraged. But it did suck that our guys got those flags
Well I can't say that this result surprises me as we were way too simple scheme wise all year and Tulsa was a good team. Although I really wanted to boycott the bowl game just because of the sponsor and a crappy rematch. Autozone is a terrible company that will be bankraupt in a few years to due to some scumbag investors (E. Lampert) and a board that sold them out to make themselves a bunch of money. Fitting I guess, but hopefully we can correct our mistakes (cough hiring our new OC cough).
I don't think you can blame Messingham. This Offense is a poorly designed mess. no pun intended. Didn't work under Herman, and is not going to work under anyone else.
I do somewhat agree with this...Our running backs take the ball standing still....that is ******* stupid. I would be very excited if CPR came out tomorrow and said expect a new offense design next season.
Then he should, but we stuck with Herman's playbook unless I am mistaken. By all means, if he is capable, redesign the whole thing.
CF Football Board is going to suck for the next seven months. That is one of the worst things about this.
