Sorry but I am calling this game over. That was TERRIBLE. Worst all a round game I have ever seen in the CPR era. I don't know what needs to be changed but something does....this is ********. Lovie Smith is a better OC than Mess is for **** sake.

^He'd be a good OC.

CPR needs to reevaluate how he prepares his team for bowls....big time

Tulsa will kill us next year as well, need to find a way to buy it out...this is why I hated this bowl game

Putting in Jantz was a total mistake. The game was essentially over, Steele wasn't going to come in and win the game. So instead of sticking with your probable qb for next year, maybe give him some easy throws against a prevent defense and get a garbage td. At least some smallest amount possible of positive going into the offseason. Instead he sits and watches a turnover prone qb make another errant pass and think "I was pulled for this guy?" and question himself all offseason.

I don't think there was enough vaseline to go around after the first quarter when Tulsa just bent us over and took it to us.

They punched us in the face and we just took it. Our team looked like they could give two ***** less what happened in this game.

This game sums up why ISU can't have nice things. We just NEVER seize opportunities to grab momentum as a football program, and really as an entire athletic department.

We're a ******* terrible ball club. Just embarrassing.

How can that many ISU fans show up and then play like that. The Pinstripe and now this...

We are beginning to see a trend here and I ******* hate it.

Coach Rhoads just said it to Blakenship

"You whooped our ***."

That's all it was. They mauled us today.

One other thing that really ticked me off is that Tulsa was so chirpy from the onset and really brushed right up to the edge on what maybe should have been called as unsportsmanlike conduct; yet, we have two huge late hit penalties with the first one being just flat stupid. Darn.

The defense played good if not great. The offense was atrocious, and that really started and ended with poor offensive line play. Sam simply had no time.

If this thing is going to turn around, it needs to start there.

The defense failed when the offense was doing OK. Again.

People never notice that the defense gives up drives when the offense is scoring, or controlling the clock, or basically just doing their part (on the times where that actually happens).

Both sides of the ball stunk. No one gets a gold star tonight. Everyone failed.

What? You are obviously being sarcastic. The offense was putrid. The defense was just short of terrible but not putrid. We gave up 300 yards rushing. Tulsa didn't even have to try and pass.
