Hey Chris Williams, can you ask McDermott on why is is that his teams at Iowa State always give up a big run to the other team and why his team can not do a 15-20-0 run....

That was a good effort. I think our defense has improved, and Big Ham is playing great right now.
We don't always give up a huge run. We give up a huge run to great teams. That's why they're great teams. We're not a great team. That's why we don't go on them very often.
3 straight home games coming against teams we can beat if we play well. Need at least 2 of 3 to keep NIT in play. I would actually hope we turn down CBI if we fall that far.
Our team looks drained. Can't fault their effort against a top ranked team, but the gas tanks are running short.

Completely agree here. We played our ***** off tonight, and at Missouri. I can't even complain about the effort lately.
There was no way we were going to win that game with 12 players. KU rolled us and showed us why they are #1. They seemed to toy with us at the end when they rolled off a 15-0 run
