****Official Post Game Thread****

Well boys I havent heard from Bostenload...I tried to tell the guy that gmac is a DUD and thats why I gave him the nickname...

"McDUD"..........................This was sure a dud of a game and there's gonna be many more dud games this season....

Maybe he is tired tonight and refuses to respond to retards like you cybobby ever think of that.... all you ever do is paint a neg picture on everything why dont you go be a hawk fan

I just hate not being able to stay excited about our team, bunch of posers. I bought in big time after the pounding we put on the first 6 teams, now I'm as strung out as two week bender...Would love to bring LE back.

$20 to anyone who can say one nice thing about G-Mac

UNI is not a bad team...They killed BC and BC beat or is beating Michigan tonight. I'm as upset as everyone else is, but maybe we should just calm down a little and see how we rebound from this one.

It doesn't matter if they're a good team... anyone watching the game could clearly see ISU should have won the game (and were winning for the vast majority of it).

We would have lost to a bad team with that 2nd half effort

Was that intended to be a joke ---- "see how we REBOUND from this one?"
:biglaugh:

And when we lose to Cal to make it 3 in a row? Then what? "Well, it was @Cal so we'll see how we do next time" Come on, we shouldn't lose at home to a un-ranked Mo Valley team.

Can GMAC install cable systems? I bet Pollard could get a good cable package deal with the big ten network tomorrow...I can't wait for Monty to post if they let him?????

Tim Floyd is currently unemployed.... just sayin'.

That's hardly a good point. With his last team, USC, he went 85-50. He made it to the NCAA tournament the last three years. 2nd round last year, 1st round the year before, and sweet 16 before that. He never had a losing season at USC.

He didn't get fired, he resigned because he lost enthusiasm.

In 16 years of coaching, he's had ONE LOSING SEASON and it was with ISU in 97-98

Your point is almost laughable.

Just a complete collapse by our team down the stretch.

Horrible shot by Dendy, both the attempt and the decision to shoot it to begin with. I think he was a little overwhelmed by the situation.

Hard for Brackins to score when he doesn't get the ball and when he does he is double teamed 15 feet from the basket. His teammates just abandoned him when he got doubled and hard to see past two 6'10 guys.

Garrett cannot take 14 or 15 attempts a game. He just can't, he isn't a good enough shooter for that. Granted he was like 40% tonight. But he as the PG should be distributing more than shooting.

Just a complete collapse at the end. Sucks to lose that one in Hilton.

clearly see? I somehow doubt that.

In the first half our jump shots were falling, second half they weren't

UNI pounded it into their 7 footer and that allowed Koch to attack the change in our defense the entire game.

Yes this loss falls squarely on McD and Brackins!!!!!!!!! McD couldn't coach the Original Dream Team to the gold medal!!!!!!!! There was no in-game adjustments once again. This is getting very old!!!!!!!!

As for Brackins, He is supposed to be a leader and demand the ball. The entire second half, I only saw one moment where he did that. Not the leadership qualities of an all-american.

This...DG is not a good shooter. Never has been.

I've been one of the BIGGEST GMac supporters on this site, but I have to tell ya... he'd better make the NCAA tourney this year... or else he has to go. And it pains me greatly to say that.

UNI is a much more disciplined team in every aspect. Our athleticism alone made this a close game. We were outrebounded big time. We were outhustled big time. We were outsmarted big time. And we were outcoached BIG TIME tonight.

There was only one team on the floor tonight that even looked like a fundamentally sound basketball team... UNI. Not one single UNI player would have shot the ball that Dendy did near the end of the game. They all know their roles and play them well. UNI manhandled Brackins all night long, and took it to us physically on the offensive side and got to the FT line. I can't imagine what a team like Texas will do to us on the interior?

If we don't make the NCAA tourney this year, don't expect to make it for a while. Brackins and Gilstrap, our two best athletes by far, are gone next year. At this point, we will be MUCH worse next season. Who is going to play inside for us next year besides Hamilton? Ejim and Phillips are basically guards.

I'm just sick and tired of watching GMac congratulate the UNI coaches and players nearly every single year. It gets VERY old GMac. We know you still have a place in your heart for UNI.... maybe you need to go back there and be an assistant for Jacobsen?

On a positive note....

Colvin is going to be a great player. I hope he sticks around after the coaching change. I feel for Buckley but the competition in the Big 12 tough.
