If you'll get on Dendy for that, you should get on Staiger for it too. He does it almost every game. Did you see that shot with like 3 minutes left? Gets the ball right away like almost out of bounds, does a fade away while going to his right behind the backboard and hits the side of the backboard with like 25 left on the clock.
I've been saying it every game. So many guys for us do it
We are soft. SOFT! Like a bunch of marshmallows.
Uninspired D. No effort on the boards.
And our offense. It is boring to watch, easy to defend, and flat out stinks.
You cannot run a post up isolation (like they do in the pros) for Brackins. There are no illegal defense calls in the college game, so there is all kinds of help other players can provide to deny him the ball. You have to get him moving more. Like Coach Knight says, the best way to get open is to set a screen yourself. All I ever see is one cross screen on one diagonal screen - wait, scratch that. We most see pick and roll ball screens with only 2 guys involved in the play, and it usually goes no where.

We've had some bad games but this one takes it.....maybe we overrated the talent on this team.

No he will go to the NBA regardless. I'd get the **** outta here too if I was him.
Especially on D. Not big/strong enough for a 4 and not quick enough for a 3. Sounds a lot like another Clone that came out early.
This is coach Mac's season. He KNOWS this has to be the year. Brackins came back to lead us there. Are you damn kidding me? If MAC doesn't take us somewhere this year he is in serious trouble. Brackins should be DEMANDING the ball on the floor and in the timeouts. Absolutely ridiculous.

This was/is a coaching problem, nothing else.
For Mac to survive, he had to do one or both of the following:
- Get a commitment from HB
- Make the NCAA tourney this year
He obviously missed on the first, and he's well on his way to missing the second. It's my opinion that this is the beginning of the end for Mac, he will lose the few supporters he has left.
