It's weird that if it's a fractured 5th that he was able to continue on for so long. It's a common soccer injury so I've been around a couple and it's sit down and get a little queasy painful. So I don't know what's going on with that.

Suffered a similar injury at a football camp in middle school. Broke it early in the practice and finished the practice. Didn't find out I fractured it till the next morning.

For the record, I wouldn't play. But Georges is 10x tougher than me, and probably all the posters on this site. I'm not saying he should play, in fact, no one is saying he SHOULD play. I think everyone is saying there's still a chance he COULD play.

Yeah, after reading that article CycloneErik linked, there is no way he's playing. He may be lucky to have that thing heal without surgery within 6 weeks of wearing a cast. He probably won't even be able to walk tomorrow.

I really wrote some nasty things about you and your post. I'll hold those in fear of being banned for life. But seriously, to bring what you did into this conversation has no place. No one was comparing a broken foot to cancer. We all realized it wasn't the end of the world. You are the one dumb enough to think it was.
