I'm not. But I work with one 6 days a week who, with their athletes, even if they can go and be just fine, will still make them wait 2-4 weeks to before they release them. I just think 6 weeks is the "perfect" time frame.

After seeing the injury I would almost guarantee it was a Jones Fracture, which can be mistaken for an ankle sprain. Here is the wiki page if you want to read up on it.

Guys? We still have the Big 12 POY and Newcomer of the year. Definitely a blow, but it's not the end of the world.

Yes, it is not the end of the world, but it is the end of ISU having a chance to win the national championship, and likely the Sweet 16. Not many times that ISU gets such a good chance to do that, and to lose it to a fresh injury while comfortably ahead late in the game makes me ill. I thought our luck was bad in getting UK in 2012. Then Babb and the blown call against OSU. Now this. ****

As bad as I feel about that, I feel bad for Georges and the guys.
