Kane said he came to ISU to make a deep tourney run. Well, for Deandre, here is the ultimate chance to live his dream. Win it for Georges and win it for the team, but know that he can put the team on his back. Let's do it.

This is the closest I've gotten to feeling physically ill over a sporting event since the 2005 KU football game. Getting older has separated my emotions from the results of ISU games almost completely. Whatever happens, happens. But this just really sucks. Felt like this team could actually break in to an Elite 8 this year with an outside shot at a Final 4. Not happening now without Georges. The entire offense flows much better while he is in there, he is the biggest matchup nightmare for the opponents. He pulls so much of their attention away from our other guys, now they'll be able to play us straight up and I don't like our odds.

You have been a cyclone fan long enough. You know what is coming on Sunday. I know I do, I have seen it too many ******* times.
 
Now that I am done morning.....I still feel like we can make a good run. We have played large stretches without him this season when Niang was getting in early foul trouble. It makes me sick that he is out but the other guys will have a different mental state knowing that they need to pick up the slack.
 
Honestly, I think 6 weeks is making sure it's perfect and he can be 100%. I truly think should he sit out against UNC and rest it, they could wrap it and pad it up and he could go again next week.
 
Niang is critical for current form of half-court offense. Will need to push the ball constantly.

Fortunately, ol' Roy doesn't like to slow down the pace either. Up-tempo game might be our best chance to win.
 
Beating Carolina does nothing for me, this was our chance to win this thing, and that's over now.

I'm normally not a believer in lucky items or unlucky items, but my beloved "Cyclone Warning" shirt that was brand new and first worn today....it's got one chance left. Sunday goes bad, f***er is getting BURNED.
 
The in-laws were in my living room tonight for the game. I haven't been able to properly vent yet about Niang's ankle, so, sorry for this, but...
