*** Official New Hampshire vs IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Only ISU would finally land a 5 star player and he ends up sucking.

I tend to believe you though. He didn’t show much for skills in HS other than dunking and being bigger and more athletic than everyone else
His problem is defense and fouling, he fouls at too high a rate.

It's not an offense thing.

On espn plus
I think all the espn tech weenies and mangagement are on holiday. They are missing a lot of add revenue, by repeating this over and over. It's almost more irritating than actual ads.

On the other hand, I've been pleased with espn+ so far this year. They have been allowing their main espn content on it lately, which is nice.

Ward looked great today, nice to have him back. If everyone stays healthy and Omaha can get to the point where he can even play five-ish productive Big 12 minutes, we will be real deep.

Today was another game where I didn’t think we played particularly well and still won rather easily.

Sell out crowd today! Congrats ISU fans!

Is that unusual for a holiday game, no students, etc.?

He doesn't suck. He hit from about anywhere in high school.

Not everything is 'you are labeled something >>>>>>> right away you are great at a different level' for everyone.

There's still 3 months left of the season and I'll be surprised if he doesn't come along and contribute at some point.
I agree with this.

Think about what it means having some very good players in front of him. Think about what TJ is doing also. I think he knows what he is doing and will bring Omaha along when he is more deserving.

Also Omaha appears to have a great attitude. His time is coming.

A main thing I consider for overall program stability is players knowing where they stand and imo TJ seems to be very good about this aspect and there appears to be some form of plan to bring him along.

Only listened to small part of late 2nd half but interesting the crap Gilbert was getting in here considering dude ended up with a triple double.
For sure. I remember it well. After a couple of not so great games, he was a loser, and couldn't play, the worst. I can't remember all the not great things said about him.

Fans are just so triggered and bipolar sometimes. It's amazing really.

Chance for people to get in.
Anyway, I've been away for awhile now, but I think it is unusual, but really great. Maybe it also says a lot about this team, coach and direction.

I hope so.

I'm glad I jumped off the bipolar overreaction bandwagon. It's crazy how people can get worked up over 20 year old kids playing a game. Bigger things to lose your mind over in life.

So many things, haha. That's a real trick also.
