Game is one week away!

Close in the first half, ISU opens it up in the second half. The youth on NDSU's offensive line and ISU holds NDSU to less than 150 yards rushing. ISU 34-17.

I think it'll be decided one way or the other by 3 points or less.

Cyclones by 4.

This is my 39th start as a Cyclone fan (I was at the first game in the Jack vs Air Force) and I have no idea about this team - must see them play.

ISU 24-20

That sounds about right to me as well.

I have to be optimistic about this team until proven otherwise. I think it could be like a 10-10 tie score at halftime, and both teams will score twice in the 2nd half too, but ISU will get 2 TDs and NDSU will get a TD and a FG instead in the 2nd half.

And us Cyclone fans will leave the game just glad we got the "W", because it could come in rather ugly fashion IMO.

ISU 34
NDU 16

Not as close as score indicates. ISU too much speed. NDSU too much turnover from last year.

I don't think it'll be a blowout margin. I'm aware that NDSU is an FCS program but there has to be at least a little respect given to their success at that level. With that said, there's been a lot of turnover within the coaching staff and roster for them.
But you could say the same for ISU. Lots of turnover, new offensive scheme and new faces. I think that in the end ISU has more playmakers and that'll be the difference...maybe something like 27-17 or 27-20. I could live with that. Take the win and don't worry how it comes about.

I think ISU will force NDSU to throw the ball. I think ISU will have a pretty good showing in Mangino's first game as OC.

35-14 ISU

NDSU 07 10 07 07 -31
ISU 07 07 14 10 -38

NDSU gets a field goal to close the first half of a neck and neck game and take a 3 point lead into the locker room. ISU comes out on fire and takes a 28-17 lead with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, and never really looks back from there. ISU takes a 35-24 lead in the first minute of the 4th quarter, and from there they slow it down. ISU gets a FG on their last possession of the game to take a 38-24 lead NDSU gets a TD in the final minute against ISU's second team D. ISU wins it 38-31.
