Every single one of these guys thinks they're the guy that's going to turn the franchise around. Most of them will fail. Most don't get a second contract. That's why draft position is a huge deal. If he thought he was #5 or so he's lost 50% of what he thought he was going to be guaranteed.

That's the thing about Tyrese though. He's going to be a journeyman. He'll make plenty of money.

Always seems like half of the first round are centers and only 1 or 2 of them actually turn out worth a damn.

Good lord have some faith in him. Tyrese is either good enough or he isn't. Many think he is a prime example of a guy who can play for 10+ years. He will be fine.

Many thought he was a Top 6 pick...

I'm not saying he's going to fail but the overwhelming majority of guys don't see a second contract. He's only guaranteed two years. Falling is a big deal.
