Am I the only one who thinks the technical problem with the Ball interview was Daddy being mad at some of the weaknesses in his game pointed out by the analysts?

One thing I did notice is that after Ball was picked he looked pissed that he didn’t go number 1. Others in the room were all jumping and cheering while he just sat there.

I was also so happy he went to a small market team like Charlotte.

Per USA Today -
The Kings may have gotten the steal of the night in Iowa State guard Tyrese Haliburton with the No. 12 pick. A smooth, steady playmaker and capable scorer, Haliburton can also play off the ball in the backcourt alongside De'Aaron Fox. He needs to improve his man-to-man defense but has the size and instincts to be a solid on-ball defender.

I'm going to imagine it was no coincidence he was the only one with technical problems. Daddy didn't look to happy, and I'm going to guess ESPN is pretty well over giving him a platform.

Knicks have a lot of PFs, but they have a lot they can just trade. Usually better to draft on talent rather than positional need. They can trade for their pg.

I suppose, but I just don't see it with Toppin. Certainly a good athlete but the league is full of good athletes. Not sure I see the ability to justify being picked that high.

Surprised Myles Powell went undrafted. Someone will sign him as an UFA; maybe the next Van Vleet?

It turns out it's hard to make it to the NBA.

Dotson signed a training camp deal with the Bulls - didn't even get picked in the 2nd round. That was a VERY good NCAA-level guard.

Just scoping out the last few days:
I really like the Heat's direction.
I still have no clue what the Bulls are doing.
I'm wondering what happens in Boston. I just feel like something shocking will happen there.

I'm thinking Embiid to Boston. You have to think they are getting a little impatient.

I was disappointed about Tyrese falling. I will say one thing though, the Kings front office and fans are VERY excited about Tyrese and were super happy when he fell to them at 12. I thought that was cool to see.

This could mean Monte on the move.

Hmm. Interesting. I'd hate to see Monte leave Denver where I think he'd continue to grow this year. Campazzo is a baller though. I think they'll have Hampton play G League ball this year - he's very raw and didn't handle the Australian league very well.
