I'm not going to disagree with you that it was a for sure takedown but what really bothered me is that Allen called it and then the 2nd ref comes in and waves it off. If Allen wasn't for sure on the call then don't blow the whistle because Reader finishes that move before the horn blows.

Well if you can predict that clearly lets just cancel the rest of the matches and you can tell us what would have happened. The point is that we don't know if he would have been able to suck that leg back onto the mat and get the opposite leg. He had complete control of the near leg so there is a lot he could have done in 14 seconds.

I believe he did. I think he lost to him his freshman year in the 84 championship match, yet Varner beat him head to head last year.
