All I have to say 3 ******* touchdowns in two games? If they don't come out and steam roll UNLV, then I will start to worry.
Something has to be done about Tom Manning. He kills all of anybodys really good aggressiveness. He never attacks the edge, he will not use our tight ends, he has destroyed. Purdy, he is overmatched time and time again.
Every week, the defenseive side of the ball is ready to play, every week the offense is not ready.
Today might have killed my fandom…best team we have had, and simply DOMINATED by Iowa in every phase of the game. Guys, we just got woodsheddeed by a team that downs have a QB that can throw a forward pass beyond 10 yards. Think about that.
Doesnt matter to me what happens now. Tom Manning isn’t able to provide the level of performance we need offensively.
He needs too pull his head out or this team won’t win many more games. We simply cannot move the ball right now at all.

I will never agree with assuming we would have won against them last year.
What have we done/shown against them under Campbell that would ever convince you we should go into a game and be confident we would win?
They have a very good defense and don't beat themselves. We have a very good defense.....and beat ourselves. There it is. I said it 5 times in the game thread......their 13 third quarter points came with them having 8 yards of total offense. Merry Christmas.
Iowa's Punter is amazing he is RAY GUY behind their defense. Their offense sucks!

Petras isn’t special? he can’t throw a pass downfield more than 10 yards. We got beat by a team without a quarterback.
And remember, the recruits playing next year will be better than those Super Seniors we have.

That was disappointing if not downright embarrassing. In one of the summer prediction threads however I said if Halloween rolls around and we only have 1 loss this can still be a special season.
If you told me before the game that Iowa would only get 173 yards of offense, I would have thought we smoked them. Unreal.

Iowa always wanted to play this game early in the season because it favors them......If you want to beat Iowa hire McCarney ...Hells bells even Paul Rhoads beat Iowa twice .....
