*** Official Kansas State vs #23 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Based on Williams tweet about K-State coaches yelling "cheating mother-fers", I had to break down the handshake encounter.

My amateur lip-reading has Tang saying "I'm not accusing you" at the start of this video. Then he points toward the basket where the managers/floor sweepers sit and says something to the effect of "two kids (or guys?) under the basket". Then he makes that motion with his right hand that appears to mimic someone recording something on their phone and you can see he mouths the word "video", then he makes a texting motion and you can tell he says "texting" before pointing up higher into the stands.

So he thinks the managers are recording their huddle and texting it to... someone? Isn't one of the key features of a huddle is that no one can see inside of it? What video are they taking? And even if it were true, what could the managers possibly have captured and who could they be texting it to during the game? Seems incredibly bizarre and far-fetched. Also, imagine your head coach being worried about this DURING THE GAME. Loser behavior.
Thanks for sharing what you perceived may have happened....obviously if even a sliver of truth, neither coach would be able to comment.

It is true we have managers wiping sweat, some that are stat runners, etc. TJ isn't Harbaugh...no way he'd ever condone that. Also, no way some freshman manager is providing any perspectives during the game or after that the coaches and staff actually would listen to.

So KSU put an assistant at center court to watch ISU huddles to collect evidence of (checks notes) the coaches getting in-game text messages from the sweat wipe up guys?

I dunno guys, I think this Tang guy might have a screw or two loose.

Or how would TJ get the info and be able to do anything about it? Does TJ have a reciever hidden under his comb over? Tang completely screwed Kstate with that late T. Thank you Jerome Tang!!

Agree Curt is MVP maybe two games in a row and reason they had the halftime cushion.

Milan becomes more of an all around player every game.

That one play showed maybe not the best at running a fast break, but I can see him improving to being so good at just about everything else.
Where would be at with CJ these last 2 games? For certain not 2 and 0.

Heck, I don't even know what the wife was saying when she whooshes by telling me what I need to be doing. So don't tell me some managers are feeding KSU supersecrets while running a mop in a noisy and loud gym.

Pure paranoia it would seem to me. Also, most people see others as they actually are themselves. Sounds like we better be careful in the little apple of their managers.

It's a W baby, Hilton is still safe for another game. 6 more games and we can have that rare unicorn of a undefeated home season. Not counting on it yet, but keep believing.
GO CYCLONES!!
I'd be happy with 7-2 in Hilton after last night. This conference is unbelievably tough, last year we handled them pretty easy in Ames with Nowell and Johnson.

Thinking it over again this morning and last night's game was a travesty of pacing thanks to the referee crew. They were constantly at the scorers table, inverting calls for physicality every few minutes, leaving looks of bewilderment on players of both teams.

Does the head of officiating at the Big 12 review performances at all or is it just a situation now where they need any warm body due to the number of games and supply of refs?

what sort of blows is (right now) that hard fought win is only a Q2 win.
Hopefully we didn't expend all our energy last night although Jones, Ward, and King didn't play heavy minutes.

I'm kind of surprised Watson didn't play more, he looked really aggressive pulling down rebounds and matched up well with their length last night.

Lipsey, Momcilovic, and Gilbert all went for 34, 32, and 34.. though.

I'm don't necessarily buy into all that anyway, because these guys are 18-22 year old athletes. Maybe if they're playing back to back to back games there could be some downfall in energy.

I think they'll be good!

Does curt jones have another year of eligibility? Have seen articles that say yes but scholarship chart doesnt make it seem so

I say put the Iowa DCI on the case.
