I've hated K State ever since my first ISU game I ever went to. I was probably 10-12 and went with a church group (FCC) haha. Their stupid god damn mascot doing their K S U wildcat chant made me want to kill someone.

I did catch an extra point that game. Too good!

Honestly, I found Manhattan to be the Ames of Kansas. Very similar fan base. Was treated well while we were there. I'm guessing the idiots that post on their boards are no different than the idiots that post on here. I think their perception of themselves is a little elevated, but honestly deservedly so. They were one win from being in the NCG this year, something ISU has never come close to.

Be honest- why would we want to ignore Iowa's 19 consecutive years without a winning season? That is K-State level futility. They may have been able to avoid playing ISU at that time, but it still happened.

You are correct though, this thread is way overblown. K-State is not worth hating.
