The problems this team has would not have been solved by Lutz. Lutz had all the transfers all last year..did he not teach them anything? It's on the players. Fred knows how to coach.

Good lord Royce has no idea what to do on post defense.

He's fine until the shot. When a player is backing him down, he's good. Turns, he's fine. Takes the shot, fails. He needs to contest the shot. Jump at it, over rotate, do something. He just stands there.

Overall, not a horrible half. Poor post defense, and bad bad shooting by us. haven't really taken good looks (Royce should not be taking 18 footers), haven't pushed the tempo, and haven't hit open shots. Need to play a lot better in the second half, but down 5 isin't really far away from what I was expecting.
