Mac's style of play=boring and lets teams like the SDSU's of the world to stay with us/beat us. Let these guys loose!!!! We've got Brackins, Garrett, and others who were highly touted and SDSU has guys that they got because nobody else wanted except lower levels of competition(D-II, etc.). I can say this with confidence because I've lived in South Dakota for 18 years and SDSU has struggled with its recruiting since it has turned D-1, especially in basketball. This is embarrassing and coach Mac should be fired on the spot if we can't beat SDSU. Don't give me the excuses of being young, give Mac time to recruit, it's not Mac's fault, etc. Believe me when I say SDSU is a bad team......nobody shows up for their games, football is there #1 sport there and nobody cares about their basketball team because they suck. Give me a break.

Garrett may be the most overrated player to step on the floor of Iowa State. He's had 1 good game this year and maybe 1 decent game, the rest have been terrible. I'm mad at Mac for not playing more of Buckley.

Even if they are all freshman and sophs, you should still have enough talent to beat the likes of SDSU. At this rate, I don't see us competing in a single Big 12 game this year.

If Brackens is who we think he is (cue Denny Green), we shouldn't have to live or die by the three against cupcakes like SDSU.

We weren't living or dying by three tonight. Barely have shot the three compared to other games, but our freakin guards can't get him the ball or when we do Brackins can't seem to have the notion to throw it back out when he is doubled team for a wide open look.

Iowa is about as young as us, but they have a good coach who pounded us like a veal cutlet.

Kansas is really young; just wait till you see how they destroy us.

Oh and Abrams is only a Soph and he'll run circles around DG

I don't care what year they are, we are playing South Dakota State. There is no excuse to ever lose to them.

Are you trying to use that as an excuse? Just about every Big 12 team is as young as we are so that excuse just won't fly when we get killed during the conference games.

I think a lot of our problems would be solved if we had that guy to get us a bucket when we need it (see Jamaal Tinsley, Marcus Fizer, Jackson Vroman, Jared Homan, Curtis Stinson)
