We lost the spunk we had to start the game, and everything has gone straight to hell since.
Yeah, I really jinxed him earlier in the thread. He made some good passes early on and did a good job of getting to the rack. With Lucca out, KSU is sagging off into the lane.
Also, BJ Schaben= worst commentator on television. He seems like a nice guy, but he is awful.
Big deal. We're 12 point dogs on the road and we're like 12-9 on the season. Play the kid.
DG is going east/west instead of penetrating down the middle... we have to give him some more room down the middle
Nope, he has some leg disease. I don't know if he thinks he can draw a foul that way or something like that but it isn't working. Its really annoying.
DG game log, he's 1 for 11 in his last 3 games on 3's plus 0 for 2 tonight. Not his shot so I'd rather see him drive it because at least then he might get fouled.
When you don't have an offensive threat other than Brackins, the other team can put 5 guys with at least a foot in the lane.
Why are all of our guards one dimensional? They can either shoot or drive definetly not both. DG, Buck can only drive. And Petey, Lucca and Eik can only shoot. Every other big 12 team seems to find guys that can do both.

i agree, diante should not be shooting threes unless he's playing out of his mind and it's in rythym. i don't think garrett is playing that bad, it's just that his jumper isn't falling like it was on saturday and they're doubling him when he tries to drive. imo, he's doing a good job of kicking it out after his drive, the shots just aren't falling. ISU has 26 shot attempts to KSU's 33. Need to narrow that gap, or at least not let it grow in the second half...or shoot better than 30% while keeping KSU at 30%.
I suppose Mac could take a time out everytime DG tries to throw the full court pass, or Lucca takes a quick 3 (clank) or Brackins decides not to post on the block, but continues to shoot fade aways.....? we get what 5 timeouts a half...?
I garuntee you, that is not what these young men are taught at practice......when the lights come on our execution is poor......
As a Coach with not enough bench talent all you can do is keep preaching and working.....this team is capable of execution, but the last 10 minutes was hard to watch
Got out to a very quick start. We were up by 8 at one point and then missed our last 11 shots going into halftime.
KState's defense is killing us right now. DG can't get into the lane and is settling for 3's.
another big key was lucca getting two fouls and sitting during the last ten minutes of the half which really hurt us
