Agreed. It's important not to confuse athleticism with talent. I think we have the edge in athleticism -- thus all the blocked shots. However, our talent and decision making isn't up to par. I like McDermott's game plan so far though.

Brackins is not scoring. I would hope he doesn't force anything in the second half and just decides to do the other things that he has better control over... total focus on defense and rebounding. Take open shots, but pass the ball well and position himself for rebounds. He needs to find a way to contribute and not get frustrated with his lack of touch right now.

I don't know if the attempts at shot blocking are by design or if the front line is just all jacked up, but they need to find a good balance between harassing the shooter and putting someone on the weak side
