***Official ISU @ UConn POST GAME Thread***

The biggest thing for me so far this season that I feel positive about is that we've found ways to win when we're not playing well. I never remember that happening before.

Money was probably one second away from getting the first celebration penalty and having those points taken off the board.

That was my thought too... like "WTF isn't that a major point of emphasis this year???". Maybe the refs don't want to enforce that rule. They certainly had no issues calling all the other infractions lol...

I want to put Herman's feet to the fire tonight but I think everyone knew our D was up to the task to stop them.

Why no plays to the tight-end after the early interception?

#1--Our QB is not a super hero
#2 Josh Lenz and Mr. Reynolds are our best players.
#3 The O-line is disappointing.
#4 Our Defense is very resilient.
#5 We are not gonna win conference games playing sloppy and winning at the end. Conference teams will make us pay for our mistakes

No. Leonard Johnson, Jake Knott and AJ Klein are our best players. Lenz and Reynolds made great plays, to be sure, but the D carried the day today.

I think our team isn't going to have a penalty game like that in many weeks and hopefully 3-interception 1st quarters are few and far between. You have to remember that this is against a conference champion team on the road in a short week. Not the greatest team, to be sure, but finally ISU comes out ahead in a road game after a big win the prior week. Got a bye to clean up the mistakes and heal up.

---4 total yards in the first quarter with 3 turnovers
---Over 100 yards in penalties
---Wide Receiver throws the only touchdown
---QB leaves before half with injury

I really feel this team is different than past years---If this stuff happenned to ISU in the past, they would lay over and play dead and get blown out.

I also think the D allows some TDs after some of those turnovers

the officials sucked major donkey ****! A sign of the screw job the Big XII officials plan to throw our way this season. The horse-collar they picked up the flag on was ridiculous.

But **** em' .......we're 3 and 0!!!!!!

Seriously, did UConn draw ANY flags??? Perhaps one or two, but I sure don't remember them!

That's a refreshing change for sure.

Only thing that makes me uneasy — odds are we'll have a "winnable game," not play well, and won't be able to overcome it (or it'll swing a "should win" game into a loss).

I'm not going to complain at this point, though.
