Official ISU @ Mizzou Gamethread

HOLY CRAP!

I was going to be satisfied with the close loss with a late comeback, but I'm glad the guys thought differently!

I couldn't see the game, I was busy sweating watching on Gamechannel, could somebody tell me how the last 10 seconds played out.

Hopefully, this is a sign of the basketball Gods shining down on us. After all the crap calls and lousy breaks that we've put up with, FINALLY, a break goes our way. Hats off to this team.....never gave up. Great way to start the conference season.

players of the game: no contest between dodie and wesley

65-62, Wesley Johson lays the ball in on a fast break with 10 seconds left. 65-64, ISU traps the inbound play, forces Stefhon Hannnah to travel. 3 seconds left Mike Taylor hoists a three, and misses. 1.7 seconds left, Wesley Johnson gets the offensive board and lays it in, 66-65. that's how we end.

That was one of the sweetest games I've ever seen. Which team looked better coached? I hate the press but it sure worked out well for us at the end, didn't it?

A little bit of irony in the fact that the ISU full court press won the game, against a pressing team.

I'm assuming this is one of those games that we shocked the world and we were supposed to get killed. Hopefully we can get a couple more like this. Lookin forward to Sports Center tonight!

Not sure what team was better coached. I think Mizzou is got a great coach in Andersen. They're nothing like they were in the Quinn Snyder days, and that's a good thing.

Don't count on too much coverage. Duke was upset in Cameron so they'll probably spend 30 minutes dissecting that game. Oh yeah, there's NFL playoffs to cover too.
