Iowa is going to get absolutely waxed by every athletic team that decides to run on them. I have to think they may be one of the least athletic teams in college basketball. Going to be a rough year for the hawks.

is it just me or are the officials all over the board on the calls tonight? Really rough stuff not called, and lots of tick tack fouls
I fail to see how we're playing poorly. We haven't played perfectly, and Iowa is bad, but we are not playing badly by any means tonight. A handful of bad fouls and a few defensive mishaps
but I mean we're up by 21 in the first. I don't care how bad you think we are..we aren't playing poorly as a whole tonight.
now, come out in the second half and keep pouring it on. I hate the way the cyclones have come out in the second half in several games.
I don't care how horrible you think Iowa is...we played a good first half. 21 point lead and almost 50 in the half, I will take it. Not even Creighton was up 21 at half on Iowa (they were up 16). Campbell was up 7, Clemson was up 14, and UNI was up 5. I'll take it. We are on track so far to give Iowa their worst loss yet this year. We need to keep it up!
Inexcusable offense on the last play from Iowa. With that said it was a good half with a great all-around effort from the players.
In the 2nd half this team needs to:
- Stay away from silly fouls. They showed towards the end of the half they can play solid d without the fouls.
- No quick possessions. While I'm not advocating stalling out or turning away WIDE open shots (by SHOOTERS not just anyone) we need to maximize our possessions. The only way Iowa gets back into this is through FTs AND us jacking up quick shots and Iowa getting rebounds.
As long as we do those things and White doesn't spontaneously combust on the court, this team will walk away with a big win.
