Dolph needs to learn the rules. He kept going off on what direction Purdue would pick for the second half. Only a moron would pick direction and not the ball. Even after Eddie saying they would probably take the ball, Dolph kept it up.
No it's not. Ohio State will beat Iowa like a rented mule. If Iowa beats Minnesota, Wisconsin and Nebraska first.
I think a lot of Iowa fans have been fairly realistic about this team from the beginning. The ones I talk to at work have been suspiciously silent the past few weeks, not what I would expect of a fan base team who has hit the #2 ranking for the first time in 30+ years. The hammer was bound to drop eventually unless the offense suddenly got better in a hurry.
Jumping in without reading the whole thread but anyone else see the irony in Iowa Dan’s not accepting the idea that Clifford getting hurt cost PSU that game, and now competent QB play for a full game did what Clifford did?

Should I have my hopes up for a crappy Northwestern team to beat Iowa in Evanston? I mean, Northwestern is horrible, but Iowa seems to rarely ever beat them either.

Do we get to hear Iowa fans talking about how the opponent's starting quarterback didn't finish the game against them again?
Iowa loses one more in regular season and then thumped in CCG to finish 10-3. Although I would love to see them drop two and finish 9-4 I don't think that happens.
Breece Hall came within 40 some yards of total offense of matching Iowa’s total offense of 270 yards for the day. Sorry but Goodson doesn’t belong in the same conversation with Breece.
