I thought the runner reestablished himself, should have been 15, doesn't matter because Purdue is playing sound football. Also wonder with Purdue running plays in instead of calling them in from the sideline has an impact.

It's what I call smoke-and-mirrors football. You can't keep winning games over the long haul that way. In fact, a team can end up being exposed badly at some point playing games like that.

I know in high school rules they explicitly changed the rule about 8-10 years ago to specifically include inside of shoulder pads OR jersey.

Unsure if College made the same change or not, but I think I've seen it called for jersey alone before.
