Hassel led off Sportscenter with his "favorite game of the year". He wanted to do a 30 minute pregame, but there was other things to talk about.

His words, not mine. Pretty funny.

ESPN was smart enough to realize that it would be a half-hour of shade-throwing towards ISU. I was at the game and wouldn't have been able to watch it anyways, but I'm glad he didn't get the segment.

Just got home from the game. HOLY ****!!!!!! That is to date the best example of Hilton Magic and I would love to see what could top it.

I thought Oklahoma State when we came back from 17 down was the best. Then we beat Oklahoma after being 20 down.

Now I missed possibly the best one, since it was Iowa. Looked crazy at the end!

....from average coaching. In Frans entire tenure at Iowa, he hasn't even been average in those 2 stretches, he's been BAD. I can point out time after time after time when he has failed to even COACH those segments. What's the point of even having him at games if he just sits back and does zero coaching during those segments? His pre-game game planning is as good as any coach in college basketball...but when the team needs his leadership at the end of each half, he's nowhere to be found!

I was checking the score periodically during the second half. I checked when it was 80-74, then I stopped and waited for a while. When I went to check to see who won, I took a few deep breaths to prepare for that nut kick. What a relief it was to see that we won.

Hawks are much more butthurt about this than they wanna admit, you'd think they would be encouraged, I mean they had the #4 team dead to rights in an almost unwinnable place. Fran's kids coming up may allow him to McDermott his way into a few more years but he's def being questioned.

Most impressive bit of magic I saw from Hilton tonight was the disappearing act Uthoff put on in the second half. Might have been even more impressive than his first half.

Was really glad to see Thomas have the game he did, especially after the article that Gottlieb put out. happy for Matt and the rest of the team.
