I don't think people realize how much Iowa has tightened things up for this game recently.

This is way overblown, in my opinion. I’ll give you last year as a game we blew, but 2018 we were just very mediocre before Purdy. 2019 we weren’t great, and Stanley did make some good plays to beat us. That’s not pissing the game down your leg. 2017, again was Iowa making plays to win.
