*** Official IOWA STATE vs #7 Baylor Game(Day) Thread ***

So.... is a loss by anything less than 20 pts today a moral victory?

Somewhat joking..... I could actually see us winning this somehow too.... but I think a 20 pt loss is more likely than a win.

Even a 15 point loss with signs of life for ISU would be a plus.

Fun part of having no expectations is that you don’t expect a win & wont get too worked up over a loss.
However, in typical clone style, I bet we keep it close & lose in heartbreaking fashion :otz:

I give ISU a 15%-20% chance of winning. Seems like we are due to have a good shooting performance from our guards (even without Grill). It may come down to FT shooting though which is why I still don't have a great feeling about it.

At least you're realistic t noah...When Chris Williams sez the Cyclones are going to lose its final judgement time so to speak!!
A WIN would be GREAT...If we lose, I hope we at least make Baylor work for it!!
If we can keep it close in a Quad 1 roadie at a much improved Baylor with the past week's turmoil, I'll count that as kinda' a win.

And it wouldn't really reflect badly with the Tourney Committee.

Getting completely worked and blown out might though.

We will go as far as Gabe takes us today. If Gabe is on, we can stay close, if not we lose by 15+

Rob Jones starting? Are we officially mailing in the season with the white flag of surrender? An injury to Shoon? Or some other unimaginable explanation I’m not aware of?
