Love my Clones, but feeling apathetic about the game today. Too much to do, I'l just put John and Eric on.
This is a classic trap game for texa$. 11:00 kick as heavy favorites against an 0-3 team who IS better than their record. And it's sandwiched between an all-time beat down of their rival and a matchup with the undefeated Gundys who always give them fits.
Is it enough? I think probably not, but if any program is vulnerable to these situations it's texa$. I'm not convinced we get their best shot, but we all know the question is whether we can give them our best shot.

It is, if our offense airs it out. Roll-outs, trick plays, jet sweeps, double passes, screens.

I hope for the best, but expect a tremendous letdown.

Close loss, but also one in which our offense is still terrible..... as long as we're still running the same garbage as we have been.
If by some miracle we come out and are running some misdirection, some jet sweeps, some screens, and throwing some deep balls and slinging it all over the field.... then I hope we put up 50+ on them!
One would like to think we'd have tried that already. Perhaps today will be different.
It would be funny to send Texas to the SEC on a 4 game losing streak to Iowa State. Unfortunately I don’t think we get it done today
I am going to be painting/epoxing the garage floor today is about how much confidence I have in this game. Maybe they will shock me, but Texas is going to score points. it is a trap game though.
