***Official Iowa State @ Iowa Post-Game Thread***

That game shouldn't have been even close. After watching the matchup, Iowa is no where near as good as we have been lead to believe, and honestly, not even as good as I thought they were. Just think of what a laugher this would have been if SE Richardson would have caught the pass thrown right to him, and Nealy hadn't fumbled going in.

Also having Kirk call the timeout (which almost every coach would do) to give Hok fans something to go crazy about makes it that much better

The end of the first half was like the most Iowa State of Iowa State football moments.

End of the second half was the most Ferentz of Ferentz moments, though.

When you think about it, we really should have won by more. Fumble on the half yard line going in for a TD, and also get a PI call taken away from us on our first scoring drive as well which could have ended in a TD instead of a FG.

But I will gladly take a win no matter what.

I think everyone that was all over Sam after the first game needs to step up and eat a little crow. He was amazing today...best QB play we've had in a long time! Great win...maybe they learned what it takes to win today, overcame a lot of adversity.

This is probably my favorite part of this day:

Yeah, Iowa is not good. They will lose again next week IMO.

They have one of the easiest schedules in the entire country and they are going to **** it down their leg again.

Ah Ha, Damn! It worked. Just got back. I left for a half hour, start of 4th qtr, saying we would win when I came back. You guys can thank me now!
