***OFFICIAL IOWA/ISU WEEK THREAD***

You are proving her POint. I know I don't remember the games by the years, doubt Kc does. If I can say 2006 and you know the game, outcome or what have you, it's an unhealthy obsession.
2011 was a triple-OT, I think - memorable because several weeks later came another OT win, vs OSU. 2007 was Shaggy's magic toe...memorable because of how the points were scored. I think 2002 was the year that the Hawkeyes were undefeated (except for us). Other than that, nope. :)

Edit - I'll be honest here & confess that up until about a week ago I forgot which year the 15-13 game occurred - until my son reminded me that this is the 10th anniversary of that crazy game (he was a junior at the time, but non-traditional).

Jackson was really good for most of the game. It looked like on the TD he gave up he lost his footing. But that happens. He looked like the best DB on the field on either side.

I am interested to see what ISU players made the team. You would have to think Montgomery is on there. I saw PFF said Montgomery has already forced as many missed tackles in two games as he did all of last year.

I'm guessing Spears and Montgomery made it and I'm assuming Joel did not

Lets just say that Iowa was due to win a game like this.

Jackson may have gotten beat for a TD once, but he still played really well. Can't say the same about Peavy. CyTwins kept talking him up, so I assumed he would be a stud, but Iowa picked on him all game long.

That's crazy he got burnt on a huge play and still was one of the best CB's in your conference. Wow

It actually shows you don't really know anything about football and are just trying to troll. You don't have the ability to recognize a game played well by a Hawkeye even when you watch the entire game.

I watched the entire game. Jackson got burnt on a huge 4th down play for a TD. I don't remember him playing poorly outside of that play but that was a big one.

Why is it incumbent upon Cyclones on a Cyclone board to recognize greatness in Hawkeyes?

It isn't. It is just funny that @CyTwins was specifically trolling a guy who actually played a good game.

You're sensitive. Ragubumba sucked Saturday, really really sucked. No clue why Iowa fans think he's good or kept repeating he was your best defensive back going into the year. Is that better?

If you want to talk about players really really sucking for one game, look no further than Brian Peavy. Dude got torched repeatedly. He was probably the worst DB on the field for either team, and that is really saying something.

Agree to disagree. I don't think Peavy had a very good game Saturday for him though.

What did you grade Ragumba at? You say he really really sucked, but what leads you to say that? What assignments did he miss? I know of several, but I doubt you do. You just spew stuff to troll. You know Ragumba got pulled from the game so you just troll it.
