***OFFICIAL IOWA/ISU WEEK THREAD***

I could see him calling it a January Bowl Game.

I mean he wrote an open letter chastising transfers in the Spring of like 2010 and then flipped and embraced them once Hoiberg started pursuing them.

Still doesn't change that it's an outdated term.

This game is a priority.

ISU emphasizes it throughout the whole year.

Sounds like a big game for CMC and staff. I wonder how many other games get comments like that in a presser.

And tonight Marvin McNutt said himself that KF put this game as his top priority also. So guess what... both sides do, no matter what us dumb fans think.

You don't have one athlete on your defense that can stop Allen Lazard. Dezmund King isn't walking through that door. He had more receiving yards last year than everyone returning on your team this year and he almost had more receiving yards last week than your whole ******* offense did. Lol when Park heaves it deep and nobody in your pathetic secondary will stop it. And don't @ me with Wyoming, they don't have a receiver to be mentioned in the same breath as Al Lazard.

Was it the year the south endzone was closed?

So Blum is making fun of Iowa when ISU hasn't sold more than 55K tickets for an out of state team Since ???

That is one sick burn then. I should start trolling Michigan when they were only selling 100,000 tickets per game instead of 105,000.

He isn't making fun of Iowa. He's using it as an example of how much " you don't care about this game" and how it's " not your Superbowl".

What 2000 seats did we lose. There was just a little areas on the hillside that taken away.
The entire southeast and southwest grass quadrants were closed and they had to make temporary walk ways each game to the SEZ bleachers. Amazing construction engineering planning considering all the work they did prior to even taking down the bleachers. Just days after the final game of the 2014 season, the bleachers were gone.

But Iowa's appearances are all legit January Bowl games.

Gator, Outback, Cap One, Rose and Orange have always been played on NYD or shortly after.

It's not like they made the Heart of Dallas Bowl that is played on January 3rd and claimed that as a January Bowl.

These 7-5 teams making January Bowls seems legit.
