No margin for error in the tough B1G. I mean is sucks cause you lose 1 conference game to Wisconsin’s and odds are you don’t even make the conference title game.

You're starting to get a little backhanded here.
That might be true but that doesn't take away that so far the rest of the division or conference is not good and it won't take a juggernaut to play within a game of the B1G championship. Phrasing it that way makes it sound like it's a tough road.
Wisky also has a tougher stint this year and last I knew the B1G goes by overall conference record, not within the division.
And this isn't to say the Big 12 is some gauntlet. OU looks very good but who knows with Mike Stoops. TCU looked OK after they sobered up last night, TX has to figure it out some time, don't they? KSU hates September. The rest are beatable but it won't matter if playmakers aren't put in a spot to make plays going forward.
I am trying to seem a little backhanded to that guy, because he is being backhanded. He is acting like it is some easy road when there is no room for errors for Iowa. If Iowa losses to Wisconsin they have to lose two other games and Iowa has to be perfect. That isn’t going to happen. If Iowa does beat Wisconsin they still also have to win at Penn St and not slip up anywhere else.
If Iowa doesn’t go 9-0 in conference or 8-1 (while beating Wisconsin) they won’t be in the conference championship game.
ISU will be the only team in the state ranked at the end of the season this year. Next year we will have a game to work out the bugs, the game will be in Ames, and all this great young talent will have another year of experience. Enjoy the victory tonight because it will be the last one you get as long as CMC is here.
I honestly think @1976 is an Iowa fan trying to make State fans look like idiots. It’s the only explanation I can think of.
No I’m an Iowa State fan who truly believes in what CMC is doing. I’m extremely disappointed in our performance today but we didn’t have a game to work our all the bugs. At the end of the year, just like last year, we will be considered the better team. That’s just a fact.
You let your hatred of Iowa cloud everything about them. Iowa has 10 Sr. scholarship players is all. They are loaded in the 2 deeps with So and Jr. Iowa is only going to be better next year. Just look at what you were saying before this game, none of it came true, and the reason why is you aren't realistic and honest about what kind of team Iowa has, so in the end it just makes you seem like you just don't know football.

Iowa is not a great football team. They just prepare all year for this game, and play out of their minds one one side of the ball. By the end of the year it will be proven that ISU is the better team again this year, just like we did last year.
Iowa may not be great, but just like last year Iowa proved on the field they were clearly the better team.
Yesterday, you were the better team. By the end of this month we will be the better group. A lot of young players in new roles that need live action. We have more talent, we just needed a little more experience. After a couple more games, just like last year, we will take off.

Notice you didn’t say anything about Wisconsin and Penn State, both of whom are ranked higher in FPI than TCU and West Virginia.
