But if you get hurt (Career ending) the first year....doesnt your bonus get revoked and stuff....and then your poof gone. How soon can you get insurance, and how soon can they pay it off. Insurance also does not pay for all if your .....handicapped or does it

That's why a lot of the first rounds picks get a bunch of the money guaranteed. I know Bulaga has all ready taken out an insurance policy, and I remember reading that Matt Leinart did the same thing after his junior year.

The circumstances were a bit different with Bulaga having the thyroid condition, but there isn't a time limit on when a player needs to take out an insurance policy.

I don't know about you, but during ISU games, I'm too invested to be posting on here. During games like this, where the final outcome doesn't really affect me one way or the other, it's kind of fun to be on here posting.

Right on. I only half watched the Iowa game. Was not nearly as important to me as an ISU game.

Don't forget that brand new defensive line that Iowa brought into that game in 2005, and that the game was played in Ames, which up until about halftime last year has been a house of horrors for Ferentz.Neither will be the case this September.

Wasn't Matt Roth still anchoring that line?

I'm not foolish enough to straight up predict an ISU win, I'm just saying that it seems really unlikely that Iowa wins the National Title next year.
